THE DAY OF THE LORD.


IS 13: 6 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it


TIMING: THE DAY OF THE LORD


IS 13: 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.



Mark 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,



Matt 24: 29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken


Acts 2: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:



Rev 6: 12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.


A PROMISE to the LORD'S PEOPLE: ISRAEL, SHALL REST from sorrow, fear, and bondage….



]IS 14: 3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve.

IS 13: 19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.


IS 14: 4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!


IS 14: 5 The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, [and] the sceptre of the rulers.



IS 14: 6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, [and] none hindereth.


IS 14: 9 Hell (death) from beneath is moved for thee to meet [thee] at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, [even] all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

IN THE END, the Earth will REST, and there will be REJOICING for the SAINTS:

A false prophet was the occasion of these people’s destruction, who had made a public proclamation in the city that very day, that God commanded them to get up upon the temple, and that there they should receive miraculous signs of their DELIVERANCE.


Now, there was then a great number of false prophets suborned by the tyrants to impose upon the people, who denounced this to them, that they should wait for deliverance from God; and this was in order to keep them from deserting, and that they might be buoyed up above fear and care by such hopes..


]Now, a man that is in adversity does easily comply with such promises; for when such a seducer makes him believe that he shall be delivered from those miseries which oppress him, then it is that the patient is full of hopes of such deliverance.

]Thus were the miserable people persuaded by these deceivers and such as belied God himself; while they did not attend, nor give credit, to the signs that were so evident, and did so plainly foretell their future desolation?

A VOICE from the four winds, a voice against Jerusalem, and the holy house, a voice a voice against the bridegrooms and the brides, and a voice against the whole people!”

This was his cry, as he went about by day and by night in all the lanes of the city.

However, certain of the most eminent among the populace had great indignation at this dire cry of his, and took up the man, and gave him a great number of severe stripes; yet did not he either say anything for himself, or anything peculiar to any that chastised him, but still he went on with the same words which he cried before. Here upon our rulers supposing, as the case proved to be, that this was a sort of divine fury in the man, brought him to the ROMAN procurator- where he was whipped till his bones were laid bare; yet did he not make any supplication for himself, nor shed any tears, but turning his voice to the most lamentable tone possible, at ever stroke of the whip his answer was ...

]“WOE, WOE, to Jerusalem!”

And when Albinus, the procurator, asked him, Who he was? And whence he came? And why he uttered such words? He made no manner of reply to what he said, but still did not leave off his melancholy ditty, till Albinus took him to be a madman and dismissed him.

Now during all that passed before the war began, this man did not go near any of the citizens, nor was seen by them while he said so, but every day uttered these lamentable words, as if it were his premeditated vow,

.“WOE, WOE to Jerusalem!”

Nor did he give ill words to any of those that beat him every day, nor good words to those that gave him food; but this was his reply to all men, and indeed no other than a melancholy presage of what was to come.


This cry of his was the loudest at the Festivals; and he continued this ditty for SEVEN YEARS, five months, without growing hoarse, or being tired therewith, until the very time that he saw his presage in earnest fulfilled in our seige, when it ceased; for, as he was going round upon the wall to the city again, and to the people, and to the holy house!”

“ Woe, Woe to myself also!”

there came a stone out of one of the engines, and smote him, and killed him immediately; and as he was uttering the very same presages, he gave up the ghost…

To IDENTIFY the HARLOT, we must know the works of her hands.

I was thinking yesterday. It might be helpful and beneficial to make a list of the workings/rotten fruit of the hands of The Harlot, THINGS that were SPECIFICALLY designated to her works.. I will refrain from making personal comments.. Just a few questions to ponder at the end..


We will know them by their fruit, according to JESUS CHRIST:



For to Truly identify her she must pass ALL the MANDATES of SCRIPTURE.


HOPEFULLY this will be helpful???





Rev 17: 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.



Rev 17: 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.



Rev 17: 9 And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom.The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth

Rev 17: 18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth


Rev 18: 3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.



[size=18]REV 18: 7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.



Rev18: 11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:



REV 18: 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men



Rev 18: 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off.






Rev 18: 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

I would like to add these FEW to be a helps in defining the “timing” and “purpose” of her destruction in End-times.

Compare these scriptures to one another, and see what you might get out of it.. : )

REV 17: 1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:






At the 5th SEAL the saints are still calling out for her destruction:


REV 6: 9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:



REV 6: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth.



REV 6: 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they [were], should be fulfilled.





REV 18: 20 Rejoice over her, [thou] heaven, and [ye] holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on [b]her.[/b]


REV 18: 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Here are just a few questions to ponder for yourself:

Based on these scriptures:

1. , HOW powerful do you see this HARLOT in END-TIMES, [b]what is the scope of her INFLUENCE?

2. Do you see her COMPETING with the LITTLE HORN in the ECONOMIC AGENDA, or more as a "MAIN PLAYER" in his agenda?

3. Since the VENGEANCE for the death of the saints has NOT been DONE by the 5th seal, wouldn't that mean a couple of things?

a. she has been around for a TIME

b. she is still existing even up to the 5th seal, therefore she is MUST be destroyed somewhere within GOD'S WRATH?

c.. Who are these saints that are calling out for her destruction?

4. Since the KINGS have drank from HER CUP of ABOMINATIONS, would that NOT mean that she holds some kind of POSITION and INFLUENCE concerning the "ABOMINATION that CAUSES DESOLATION"?

 

BOY!!! I NEEDED THAT: REFRESHED through HIS SPIRIT: WORD of COMFORT

What an awesome WORD, I received from the LORD...

I am so very GRATEFUL for this WORD from the LORD to me.  And I hope that it will bring some comfort to your hearts as well..

Lately the news of the world has been a bit overwhelming to me.

HONESTLY, I just need to get back to DWELLING in HIS PRESENCES, that is where I TRULY BELONG.

(There is certainly a time to watch, but RECONIZING it is FAR MORE Important need to dwell with HIM)

Last night as I was praying, I felt a very strong need and desire to truly connect with the LORD.

As I lie still in my bed, my heart began to weep. I truly desired a touch from HIM, I needed to be washed again by HIS PRESENCE, to be refreshed and renewed. To lay the troubles of the WORLD at HIS feet..

If I know anything at all, I KNOW within HIS presence comes a calm and comfort that heals all storms.. It is one of the many BLESSINGS that HE offers to those IN HIM and is the greatest prosperity one can receive. Not because we are WORTHY but because HE WAS FOUND WORTHY.

Lying in my bed, I just began to weep silently, calmly before the LORD, sharing with HIM my concerns and the burdens within my heart.  OH please LORD, give me a revelation LORD, what shall I do, for I am nothing without you.

….”LORD, what do you truly desire of  me/us?” 

It seems our time of troubles is so very near. How are we going to be strengthened  and endure in these times?   We so desperately need YOUR PRESENCES and STRENGTH.

“What would you TRULY HAVE US DO?”

Within my heart, that question just seem to be repeated over and over again with such a heavy burden..

Suddenly I heard HIS VOICE. A VOICE  with POWER and AUTORITY, yet gentle and loving, all at the same time…

“ FOLLOW MY HEART” 

That voice spoke with such assurance, hope, comfort, and cleansing.

I knew immediately that was my answer.

Immediate HARMONY with HIM, was mine again.

I felt LIKE the MIGHTY HAND of my MAKER had just given me PERFECT guidance, and through those simple words, I felt the  ‘assurance’ that no matter WHAT HAPPENS, in life or in death, IF I  TRULY “FOLLOWED HIS HEART”, I would remain in perfect PEACE and HARMONY with HIM, and could endure all things.

That one simply sentence meant so much to me.

When the LORD SPEAKS to our hearts it truly does come with a WHIRWIND of  power, assurance, wisdom and truth.

To follow HIS HEART, meant I would truly and surely be guided by HIS SPIRIT.

To follow HIS HEART, meant my FELLOWSHIP with HIM could never be divided.

To follow HIS HEART, would me HIS presence would be upon me.

To follow HIS HEART, HIS desire would become MY DESIRE.

To follow HIS HEART, would give peace, comfort, and STRENGTH through all my trails and tribulations.

MY PRAYER:

Thank you LORD, for YOUR presence, YOUR love, and YOUR fellowship.

I surely would be lost and desolate without YOU. 

Help me LORD, to keep my HEART in fellowship with YOURS. REMIND me often to Look to YOU for my strength, wisdom and guidance during these dark days to come.

Draw me as NEAR to YOU as YOU are able, please find MERCY for my weakness’, Please find forgiveness where I have failed you.  Allow me to have CLEAN HANDS and a Clean HEART before you.  Be JUST in your judgments towards me.

I know LORD nothing is beyond YOU, no POWER HIGHER than YOURS,  nor does anything deceive you. I put my TRUST IN YOU.!!!

STRENGTHREN ME in my DEATH and in my LIFE.

“ I SHALL CALL upon YOUR NAME”

So that I may RISE above it all in YOUR PRESENCES, PROFESSING YOUR NAME, TO BE TRUE and FAITHFUL, giving TESTIMONY that YOU are MY LORD and SAVIOR, for you are MIGHTY to be PRAISED and WORSHIPED.
