The Catholic Church admits it changed the SABBATH to SUNDAY.

2 COR 10: 5   CASTING DOWN IMAGINATIONS, and EVERY HIGH THING THAT EXALTETH ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE of GOD, and bringing into captivity every thought to the OBEDIENCE of CHRIST.  

VERY interesting read.  

I no nothing about the 7th day Adventist. I have never even met a 7th day Adventist.  

ALLOW ME TO MAKE THIS CLEAR:  I am not promoting them.

I am not associated with any group or organization. 

However, I am a SABBATH OBSERVER, “REMEMBER THE SABBATH and KEEP it HOLY”,  and these letters from the CATHOLIC CHURCH confirms to me, that THOSE that BELIEVE THE BIBLE as the INERRANT WORD of GOD, would hold firm to the DOCTRINES associated with the WORD of GOD and NOT the TRADITIONS of MAN or of ANY CHURCH.

So do you want to the How and Why of Sunday worship? HERE IT IS!!

    Dear sir:

    Regarding the change from the observance of the Jewish Sabbath to the

    Christian Sunday, I wish to draw your attention to the facts:

>     (1) That Protestants, who accept the Bible as the only rule of faith

>   and religion, should by all means go back to the observance of the Sabbath.

    The fact that they do not, but on the contrary observe Sunday, stultifies

    them in the eyes of every thinking man.

      (2) We Catholics do not accept the Bible as the only rule of faith.

    Besides the Bible we have the living Church, the authority of the Church,

    as a rule to guide us.  We say, this Church instituted by Christ, to teach

    and guide men through life, has the right to change the Ceremonial laws of

    the Old Testament and hence, we accept her change of the Sabbath to Sunday.

    We frankly say, "yes, the Church made this change, made this law, as she

    made many other laws, for instance, the Friday Abstinence, the unmarried

    priesthood, the laws concerning mixed marriages, the regulation of Catholic

    marriages, and a thousand other laws.

      (3) We also say that of all Protestants, the Seventh-day Adventists are

    the only group that reason correctly and are consistent with their

    teachings.  It is always somewhat laughable to see the Protestant Churches,

    in pulpit and legislature, demand the observance of Sundays of which there

    is nothing in the Bible.

You simply can not STAND FIRM, nor will you give your LIFE for anything until you understand what it is YOU BELIEVE!!

WHO IS THIS JESUS YOU CLAIM to KNOW and SERVE???

Did JESUS CHRIST COME to DESTROY the LAW and COMMANDS of the FATHER?

Or

Did the WORD/ JESUS CHRIST  RESURRECT to LIFE and POWER.

The PRECEPTS and PRINCIPLES did NOT DIE, they were RESURRECTED TO LIFE.

IT was the  PENALTY of the condemnation that was JUSTIFIED, SATISFIDED by HIS BLOOD on the CROSS.

THEREFORE we NOW LIVE, to do the WILL Of the FATHER.

WE OVERCOME by the BLOOD OF THE LAMB!!!!


A. Did HE DIE in OBEDIENCE to the FATHER?


B. "If JESUS CHRIST, did not UNDO the WORDS of the FATHER otherwise HE would not be OF THE FATHER"  HE BROUGHT THEM TO THE RESURRECTION to bring them to LIFE!!!



WE have been PURCHASED, our PENALTY OF CONDEMNATION is PAID FOR, by the BLOOD of our SAVIOR and LORD JESUS CHRIST..

THE FATHER PROVED HIMSELF and PROVIDED HIS OWN "JUSTICE and RIGHTEOUSNESS" by paying the penalty for the redemption of man-kind.

HE didn't even SET HIMSELF FREE from PENALTY that had to be PAID!!!

What makes us think, that HE will not forever be JUST, RIGHTEOUS and HOLY.

MATT 12: 28 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

IE:  LORD:  he to whom a person or thing belongs, about which he has power of deciding; master, lord

the possessor and disposer of a thing

the owner; one who has control of the person, the master
