What I truly wish
and desire, is that CHRISTIAN’S would UNITE everywhere and determine that the
BIRTH of CHRIST would be celebrated at a different time and that the celebration
itself would be very different than what we see today.
PERHAPS you two, would consider this as an INVITATION:
For many years, when our children were small, we tried to celebrate Christmas along with many others.
It was a constant battle between seeking to GLORIFY CHRIST,
and appeasing other people, including my own children. IT was a heavy burden to carry..
There was a constant taxing effort made to KEEP the FOCUS on
JESUS CHRIST..
Yes, we had a tree during those years, making our own ornaments,
we did the limited gift giving. We put
in every EFFORT to NOT include SANTA in our praise and worship, seeking to
leave out MUSIC or ornaments that brought GLORY to santa’s name.
We NEVER lied to our children concerning these fantasies of this character.. They knew from the very beginning that santa was not real.
But in the end, no matter how hard you tried, it seemed that your efforts were more futile than anything else. The WORLD itself was a constant reminder of what this HOLIDAY was truly about.
YET, it didn’t matter what you do, the WORLD continuously goes
round and round with these fantasies. And NOTICEABLY it has gotten worse every year.
The FOCUS we have SOUGHT to put on CHRISTMAS has turned very SOURER in the minds of heart of the world.
Leading far more people down that trail of worshiping IDOLS, MATERIALISM,
indebtedness, and bringing GLORY to SANTA than CHRIST.
I do often ask myself, does it make me a scrooge when I find
it disgusting to see SANTA and his reindeer's in the yards of so many professing
CHRIST?
OR every time you
turn on the radio, you hear all the HOOPLA about reindeer's,sleighs, snowmen etc.
AND IS it REALLY ok, to SHARE the GLORY OF CHRIST with a
fictional character, bringing MORE praise to that FICTIONAL CHARACTER than to
CHRIST.
You will truly have to answer that question before the LORD
for yourself, for what a man can do with a CLEAR CONSCIENCE is between him and
the LORD.
I do still appreciate the time I have with my family. Many companies make it possible for time to be spent with your family during this time.
We have a nice dinner, we play games, bond during the time, and seek to help the widow and poor during this time. But we do not get into the MATERIAL giving of this time. And you will not find PRAISE of santa in this household.
I just do not see CHRISTMAS in the TRADITIONAL way
it has been presented anymore. We have lost our way through our OWN IMAGINATIONS.
I would like to think that the many that STILL seek to
celebrate this time as the BIRTH Of CHRIST are
sincere in their PRAISE of HIM and in the SPIRIT of CHRIST. I would like to believe that those that are CELEBRATED
along with the WORLD this “pagan holiday” are still making great efforts to
BRING PRAISE and GLORY TO CHRIST.
BUT THAT IS "NOT" what this time of YEAR is about, and YOU can not make it so, just because you DESIRE through your imagination to make it so. IT IS A PAGAN HOLIDAY, and you are seeking to ENTER CHRIST IN as a substitute. HE DESERVES MORE GLORY and HONOR THAN THAT.
HOWEVER!!!!
WHO DO YOU SERVE???? IS HE A RISEN LORD?
I do BELIEVE, that at any time of the YEAR, one should take
the opportunity to PROFESS and TESTIFY to CHRIST, and I want to believe the
LORD will honor hearts of worship.
Since I have gained the understanding that it REALLY
is a “PAGAN HOLIDAY, with PAGAN ROOTS”, I can no
longer find a place in my heart to CELEBRATE it as the BIRTH OF CHRIST.
I find very LITTLE desire to celebrate it as the BIRTH OF
CHRIST, but more of an OPPORTUNITY to be SET
APART during this time, and CELEBRATE HIM for WHO HE IS NOW, for WHO HE TRULY
IS IN MY LIFE.
For I know in my
HEART and MIND that I SERVE a RISEN CHRIST during this time, HE is no LONGER an
innocent CHILD that is HELPLESS or SUBJECT to the WORLD’S temptations and
trails.
INSTEAD HE is a RISEN KING, with
POWER and AUTHORITY.
I would also like to OFFER you an alternative
to the PAGAN HOLIDAY
Why not CELEBRATE the FEAST OF THE LORD instead?
I know how important Christmas is to your CHILDREN, and how difficult it FEELS to strip that away from their little lives.
BUT YOU can give them something NEW and MUCH more PLEASING to LOOK FORWARD TO, and something much more PLEASING in the SIGHT OF THE LORD.
PERHAPS you might seek to SET ASIDE your vacation time NEXT year for the WEEK of the FEAST of TABERNACLES, and make it a special time for your family, and discover a meeting place with LIKE-MINDED people.
These FEAST are WONDERFUL times of the YEAR, that belong to
the LORD ONLY.
It is believed by many that CHRIST was born some time during
the FALL FEAST.
WE HAVE an AWESOME LORD:
The LORD has not LEFT US in a world where we CAN NOT
celebrate and have peace and joy, but HE has given us OPPORTUNITIES to ENJOY
things that are STRICTLY of HIM.
A time where the WORLD will not interfere or impose their
WORSHIP and PRAISE upon us, and a time when JESUS CHRIST does not have to SHARE
HIS PRAISE.
I say this as an INVITATION,
not as a command. For if you do not find WORSHIP in them, then you will not
find the BEAUTY of them.
PERHAPS you might find interest in STUDYING the FEAST for
yourself, and consider being a participate of them, as your next celebration.
May the LORD BLESS YOU ALWAYS as you consider YOUR PRAISE of
HIM THIS YEAR.

Pretty
amazing actually, Samuel, One of the MOST devoted servants of GOD, has two sons
that do not walk in the ways of Samuel.
So much for the judgment we put on the fathers and mothers, based on the
behavior of their grown children. Interesting indeed but not the story I am

I
really just desire to be brief this morning.
Israel
made a COVENANT with the LORD, and consistently went about breaking that
covenant, worshiping other God’s, make vows with other nations, participating
in other practices of other nations, foods, whoring and sacrificing their
children etc etc.
The
FATHER sought to reach them and restore them many times, sending HIS PROPHETS,
bringing upon them plagues, wars, famine etc.
Israel many times refused to repent.
AT
the time of 1 SAMUEL, Israel
began to call out for a KING, they were NO LONGER satisfied with being RULED and REIGNED
by the FATHER.
Have
we not done the SAME in this NATION?

SAMUEL 8: 7 for
they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not
reign over them.
Many chose the BENEFITS, and freedoms of ABOMINATIONS over the RULE and REIGN of a HOLY GOD.
Many
cried out for an UNRIGHTEOUS RULER, one that would not ACKNOWLEDGE our GOD, OUR
LORD JESUS, HIS precepts or HIS principles. They found them too binding, suffocating them, stripping of freedoms they actually believe they were due.
Seeking a ruler that will "GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT, at ALL COST".
You see it all the time name, many raging of the BENEFITS, entitlements etc.
Has anyone not recognized what this "KING" over us is doing..
SELLING the BLESSING and HEDGING of the LORD, through ENTICEMENTS and BENEFITS.
COME and get it people HERE IT IS!!! I offer you good blessings and good things, while others seek to STRIP you of your rights and entitlements.
And SO MANY are RUSHING In to "TAKE and RECEIVE, without one SINGLE thought to the ABOMINATIONS that are RISING in of the NATION.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO FEAR of the LORD in him or in this NATION.
ARE we so NATIVE?? Do we really think this is out of HIS KIND and LOVING HEART?
HERE is a THOUGHT:
What might be his agenda to IN-DEBT this COUNTRY to the POINT of NO RETURN?
SURELY he is intelligent enough to see that it is happening.
I
hesitate to image what life is going to be like for this NATION in the very
near future. Will it be by Plague, wars,
famine?
GOD
only knows IN HIS GREAT WISDOM what it is going to take to bring MANY to their
KNEES before HIM.
FOR there
is one thing very CLEAR in my mind, without GOD’S HEDGE of protection over us and HIS BLESSING, there is many opportunities for EVIL to be brought upon this land.
I
pray today that MANY will see their GREAT NEED to be RESTORED to HIS
GRACE and MERCY and will call out to HIM as the ONE WHO HEALS and SAVES.

As individuals, some of us
may suffer for the decisions made by this COUNTRY, they REJECTED the LORD, and
HE gave them what they wanted.
YET,
I am convinced and persuaded that we can endure this THROUGH HIS PRESENCES. HE is faithful to those that LOVE HIM, with a true heart of praise and worship.
They
may take our goods and our life, but OUR soul will forever belong to the LORD.
Salvation is more than just
making a “STATEMENT” of belief.
SALVATION is NOT just a ONE
DAY EXPERIENCE.
JESUS CHRIST did NOT come into
your LIFE to just be a KEY to get out of HELL.
JESUS CHRIST did not come
into your life, just to make your life comfortable, prosperous, or to obey your
even whelm and desire. The BAPTISM of the HOLY SPIRIT is not about you gaining AUTHORITY, but about entering into HIS BODY. There is ONLY ONE SPIRIT, the HOLY SPIRIT, and HE is the SPIRIT in which JESUS CHRIST baptisms us. 1 Cor 12: 13 For byone Spirit are we all baptized into onebody, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. ACTS 11: 16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water;but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. JOHN 1: 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. NOTE; The baptism of the spirit is a baptism into the body, a believer can be FILLED with the SPIRIT on various occasions, according to the WILL of the LORD.. BE BAPTIZED in the FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT. (an analogy) The BAPTISM of the FATHER: is the CALL The BAPTISM of the SON: is the REDEMPTION, cleansing though the BLOOD the BAPTISM of the HOLY SPIRIT: is INTO the BODY of CHRIST YOU and I are being SAVED because we are IN HIM, abiding IN HIM. The HOLY SPIRIT Is evidence of that SALVATION. HE IS THE RESURRECTION and THE SALVATION.
HE came that you could be
CONFORMED TO HIS IMAGE, that you could be SPARED the WRATH of GOD, that you
would be lifted from the curse.
And that you would be a
PURIFIED BRIDE. GIVING YOU the opportunity for the right of passage into the
THRONE ROOM.
ALL of this is
done through a COVENANT RELATIONSHIP with HIM.
IT is a journey of repentance and restoration, of blessings
and chastisements.
It was by the MEANS OF HIS DEATH that we could be participates of HIS SALVATION.
ONE had to DIE in our PLACE, so that the DEBT of our condemnation and the curse could be satisfied. That we could be RESTORED and LIVE.
HEBREWS 9: 5And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions [that were] under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance
What is the COVENANT of Salvation?
It is an AGREEMENT between
TWO or MORE people to BENEFIT one another in one way or another. It is an intimate relationship between two
individuals of calls and responses.
One has agreed that as long
as you ABIDE in HIM, HE will give ETERNAL LIFE,
and promises to guide and direct your live towards Blessings and character
building according to the IMAGE OF JESUS CHRIST.
While the recipient of the
agreement has agreed to have faith and walk accordingly towards obedience.
Our covenantal instruction
are also in WRITTEN form which provides instructions, guidance and direction
according to the WILL of the LORD.
WHAT IS SALVATION?
SALVATION is the REBIRTH/BORN
AGAIN “POSITION” we have in CHRIST., BEING REBORN in the SPIRIT OF CHRIST, from
an EARTHLY BIRTH SPIRIT, into a HEAVENLY BIRTH SPIRIT.
We are living in a PROMISE to
be spared from GOD’S WRATH, spared ultimate destruction in the Lake of Fire.
We are guided and directed
towards a LIFE here on earth, being conformed and transformed into the IMAGE OF
JESUS CHRIST, and we are participates of HIS blessings and healings according to that
obedience.
SALVATION is
granted through a COVENANT with JESUS CHRIST:
JOHN 3: 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see
the kingdom of God.
JOHN 3: 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say
unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter
into the kingdom of God.
JOHN 3: 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
1 PETER 1: 23 Being born again, not of
corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and
abideth for ever.
JEREMIAH 18: 10 If
it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice,
then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

1. IT
BEGINS with a REVELATION OF “WHO” JESUS CHRIST TRULY IS And “WHAT” HE has done
for HIS CREATION:
There are a VARIETY of WAYS in
which HE is revealed to us:
Many times in the beginning
you may on get a GLIMPSE of HIS GLORY.
You may meet HIM as SAVIOR,
and are given a portion of grace until you know HIM as LORD, HEALER, PROPHET,
and TEACHER.. etc.
HOWEVER, BASICALLY it begins with “A REVELATION of WHO HE IS
and WHAT HE has done for us”
Ie Examples of that REVELATION:
The sacrifice that HE made.
The great need for a savior is revealed
The power and authority that HE holds
The LOVE that HE holds for HIS Creation.
2. There is a RESPONSE “EXPECTED” on behalf of the
INDIVIDUAL, in order for SALVATION to come to it FULLNESS
REPENTANCE is NOT SALVATION, but rather a step TOWARDS SALVATION.
The INDIVIDUAL “REPENTS: (in
simplicity)
JOHN”S BAPTISM was
a BAPTISM OF REPENTANCE:
ACTS 19: 4 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye
baptized? And they said,
Unto John's baptism.
Mark 1: 4 John did
baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentanceFOR the remission of sins
MOST OFTEN DUE to A REVELATION of WHO HE IS a person is
LEAD or MOVED towards REPENTANCE.
REPENTANCE brings about the CLEANSING that is needed to
prepare them for the “BAPTISM of JESUS CHRIST”
We are CLEANSED by HIS BLOOD.
AT the moment of the
REVELATION, We are often CONSUMED and OVERWHELMED by HIS LOVE, MERCY, and
GRACE.
HIS LOVE moves our
LOVE and comment towards HIM.. HIS love is like A CONSUMING FIRE within us.
1 JOHN 4: 19 Welovehim, becausehefirstlovedus.
I personally think this is where
a great deal of people get confused.
We are not REPENTING of ONE thing in our life, but “ALL’
things that we have EXALTED above the knowledge of JESUS CHRIST.
We are REPENTING based on the
REVELATION of the ONE that has been REVEALED, HIS HOLINESS and SACRIFICE has
been REVEALED, JESUS CHRIST and our GREAT NEED to have a SAVIOR.
TO be REPENTANT means we have
TURNED AWAY from SELF and TURNED towards HIM;
.
A Recognition of HIS LOVE,
and MERCY for HIS CREATION, HE loved us enough to SACRIFICE HIMSELF FOR US.
HIS GREAT LOVE for man kind,
has TURNED our hearts towards HIM.
OUR PROFESSION of
FAITH, REPENTANCE, and our COMMENT is made at the MOMENT of TRUE SALVATION:
The individuals heart is
moved towards the LORD to form a commitment with HIM.
There is a HEART CHANGE and A LIFE CHANGED involved in SALVATION:
A commitment is made to ALLOW
HIM to REIGN, RULE and to CONFORM and TRANSFORM our THINKING and ACTIONS
according to HIS WILL and HIS WAYS.
JESUS CHRIST, according to HIS BLOOD
SACRIFICE, our conscience is cleaned,
preparing the vessel for the BAPTISM of the HOLY SPIRIT, Which is the REBORN
POSTION we have IN CHRIST JESUS.
The VESSEL is CONFIRMED in the
COVENANT with JESUS CHRIST by the
HOLY SPIRIT.
3. The LORD’S REPONSE:
The LORD JESUS DOES HAVE A RESPONSE
TO THOSE THAT SEEK to MAKE THIS COMMITMENT/COVENANT with HIM…
THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY
SPIRIT:
2 PETER 2: 38 Then Peter said unto
them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name
of Jesus
Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of
the Holy Ghost.
1 PETER 3: 21The like figure
whereunto [even] baptism doth also now save us ( REPENTANCE isn’t SALVATION, It
is restoring the CONSCIENCE, a cleansing so the BAPTISM of JESUS CHRIST can
occur) not the
putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the
answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
ROMANS 6 :4 Therefore we are buried with him
by baptism into death (THROUGH
REPENTANCE): (TO the BORN AGAIN/RESURRECTED
POSITION OF JESUS CHRIST) that like
as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the
Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
4. . JESUS CHRIST BAPTISM is a BAPTISM of the
HOLY SPIRIT/ as a seal and WITNESS to the rebirth:
WITHOUT The BAPTISM
of the HOLY SPIRIT, we are NONE of HIS.
ROMANS 8: 9 B ut ye are not
in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God
dwell in you. Now if any man have not the
Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
1 Cor And if Christ be not
raised, your faith [is] vain; ye are yet in your sins.
JOHN 7: 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that
believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet
[given]; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
JESUS CHRIST was BORN of the
HOLY SPIRIT, not from the corruptible seed of ADAM.
The BAPTISM of the HOLY SPIRIT
was given to us because:
1. BECAUSE HE WAS FOUND
ACCEPTABLE to be the perfect sacrifice.
2. Because of HIS RESURRECTION,
HE was the FIRST FRUIT among us
Without HIS RESURRECTION our
FAITH would be IN VAIN. It was THROUGH the RESURRECTION that the VEIL was
broken and the HOLY SPIRIT was able to DWELL within man.
HIS BLOOD HAS CLEANSED US FROM
our DEBT and CONDEMNATION, the BAPTISM of the HOLY SPIRIT, is our seal of
approval to enter into SALVATION COVENANT with JESUS CHRIST. It is the REBORN
POSITION we have in JESUS CHRIST, that we can stand before the FATHER without
SHAME or BLAME.
THAT IS THE BORN
AGAIN POSITION we have IN CHRIST of the INDIVIDUAL.
ARE you a
participate in the COVENANTAL RELATIONSHIP with JESUS CHRIST?
ARE you a
PARTICIPATE in the PROMISES of JESUS CHRIST?
ARE you LIVING a
POWER FILLED LIFE as an OVERCOMER?
OR do you finding yourself, consistently returning
to your old sins and old ways?
PERHAPS you should
ask yourself today.
Do I merely have
an ASSOCIATION with CHRIST?
OR DOES HE REALLY
KNOW ME?
If you have not
MEET HIM in that personal relationship I pray that HE will Reveal HIMSELF to
you in ALL OF HIS GLORY, so that you can move forward in that intimate
relationship with HIM, as your mediator.
Confirm your
covenant with HIM today. ASKING HIM to Baptize you with HIS SPIRIT that you can
be IN a COVENANTAL RELATIONSHIP with HIM, so that you can walk according to
OBEDIENCE as an OVERCOMER. And that you will be FOUND acceptable before HIM at
HIS RETURN!!
JESUS CHRIST HAS the POWER to

RESURRECTION I was OFFERED the GIFT of SALVATION and RESTORATION!
HIS SACRIFICE SATISFIED my great
need and paid a debt that I could NEVER PAY!!!
I am TRULY HUMBLED by HIS GRACE and MERCY
and by HIS GREATNESS. That HE would lay aside ALL of HIS POWER and MIGHTINESS
to come to earth to restore one such as me!!!

PRAYING IN ONE ACCORD and ACCORDING to the WILL OF THE LORD:
I would like to offer a little guidance
this morning concerning PRAYERS According the WILL of the LORD.
To be honest, I think if we
could TRULY capture the SIMPLE TRUTH behind this statement, we would be Well on our
way to having a more EFFECTIVE prayer life:
“PRAYING is more about SURRENDERING to the LORD’S
WILL, than about getting what you want.” THUS WE SAY, NOT MY WILL LORD, but YOUR WILL BE DONE IN OUR LIVES.
As I have sought to share many times, there is a bit of
difference between what the LORD DESIRES in our lives and What the “LORD WILLS” upon our lives
in order to get to the RESULTS of HIS DESIRE.
The LORD desires GOOD for us:
WE can HAVE CONFIDENCE That the PURPOSE of HIS “WILL” brings about
HIS HOLYDESIRE.
1. That we LIVE in the PROMISES OF CHRIST, on earth and in
heaven.
2. That we have the MIND of CHRIST, fruit of CHRIST, and be conformed
into the IMAGE OF CHRIST. etc.
Thus HE “WILLS” things in our lives to PURGE us and CLEANSES us
to bring about that DESIRED place for us.
HBR 12: 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. I have a favorite saying: Do right according to the LORD, and HE will bless it.
IN
this STUDY we are going to go over these 3 scriptures:
1 JOHN 1: 15 And this is the
confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any
thing according to his will, he heareth us:
James 4: 3 Ye ask, and receive not,
because ye ask amiss,
that ye may consume [it] upon your lusts.
Acts 4: 24 And when they
heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord,
and said, Lord, thou [art] God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea,
and all that in them is:
ONE ACCORD: 1)with
one mind, with one accord, with one passion.
To PRAY in ACCORD is where we as a BODY are most EFFECTIVE, we are
praying for the same results, according to the LORD’S WILL. We are praying with the same PASSION, hoping
for the same outcome.
PRAYING ACCORDING
TO HIS WILL:
1 John 1: 15 We know that if WE ASK any thing according to
HIS WILL, HE HEARETH US.
What I have learned from this scripture is that WHATEVER we “ASK”
or PRAY FOR NEEDS to be ACCORDING to HIS WILL. THAT is what HE HEARS and What HE MOST
WILLING to ACT upon
So how do I know HIS DESIRE for us?
For IF I know HIS DESIRED OUTCOME then I will know HOW to PRAYER, and I can have confidence that HE HEARS.
LET’S use an EXAMPLE throughout this study:
A family that is struggling with their marriage:
There is a lot of FORGIVENESS, bitterness and this couple
is considering divorce as an option.
This couple decides to seek out GODLY COUNSEL:
HOW would I pray for this couple:
HERE are a few examples of what do I know concerning the LORD’S DESIRE in MARRIAGE:,
I know that the LORD
desires a GODLY MARRIAGES, that they be ONE under the covenant of JESUS
CHRIST
Oneness produces Godly children
I know the LORD hates
divorce
Husband’s love your
wives, wives honor your husband etc..
THESE offers me GUIDELINE In my PRAYER LIFE for them.
If I am TRULY seeking to PRAY according to the DESIRED WILL
of the LORD then my PRAYERS would be “DIRECTED” according to HIS PRECEPTS and
PRINCIPLES, thus I can HAVE CONFIDENCE that HE HEARS.
My next pray would be:
TO seek out HIS KNOWLEDGE and WISDOM: that I could offer INSTRUCTION and GUIDANCE on how to get to the END RESULTS, and how to HELP them to develop a closer walk with the LORD and HIS ways. IE " A HEALTHY happy marriage in COVENANT with the LORD"
Now let us talk discuss PRAYERS that are NOT
ANSWERED:
James 4: 3 Ye ask, and receive not,
because ye ask amiss,
that ye may consume [it] upon your lusts.
Prayers that ARE
NOT within HIS DESIRE or WILL: This is where I believe so MANY miss the MARK,they PRAYER for things from THEIR " PERSONAL" desires and lust, and expect PROSPEROUS results. Rather than SEEKING the "DESIRE and WILL" of the LORD.
Prayers that are NOT according to HIS PRECEPTS and PRINCIPLES and the MIND OF CHRIST, "YE RECEIVE NOT"
These are prayers that more
about CONSUMING things upon our OWN LUST, rather than bringing about the FRUIT
of CHRIST, directing our LIVES to live according to HIS WORD, HOLY LIVING.
REVERSE PRAYING:
PRAYERS such as: prayers that
bring about division, or to inflect pain
1.PRAYERS Of accusation, discourse, abuse,SEEKING wrath
upon one another PRAYER for divorce, personal gains such as prosperity, elitism etc. REMEMBERING it is the "LIGHT" that consumes the "DARKNESS" WE pray into HIS DESIRE and WILL.
You
get the idea, right?
The PRAYERS of the “DOUBLE MINDED”.
James 1: 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he
that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed
James 1: 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive
any thing of the Lord.
Prayers without the assurance that it is within the LORD’S WILL and DESIRE,
have very little FAITH in them that JESUS CHRIST will give answer.
IF is very DIFFICULT to “ASK” something of the LORD with confidence
and faith unless you have the assurance that it is within HIS WILL, for you
have NO FAITH that HE WILL ANSWER.
What does the SCRIPTURE SAY CONCERNING THIS?
That man will receive NOTHING from the LORD, because he is “DOUBLE MINDED” being TOSSED
to and FRO due to LACK of FAITH that he is praying within the “WILL and DESIRE
of the LORD”.
CONCLUSION:
ALLOW me to REMIND you of
this STATEMENT again:
“PRAYING is more about SURRENDERING to the LORD’S
WILL, than about getting what you want.”
HOW do I pray for a couple
that is STRUGGLING with their marriage?
I can PRAY with assurance
that the LORD HEARS and will answer if IT is according
to HIS DESIRE.
How do I find HIS
DESIRE?
“ MOST OFTEN through HIS WORD, sometimes
through our PRAYER life itself, the LORD will simple reveal "WORDS of WISDOM” but they are ALWAYS
according to HIS DESIRE. etc”.
I pray according to HIS WORD, HIS precepts and principles concerning
marriage.
ONCE HIS DESIRE IS REVEALED, I
then PRAY INTO HIS DESIRED WILL. Having assurance that HE HEARS and I am
praying FROM HIS HEART not my own.
Then I can have the
CONFIDENCE that HE HEARS and WILL RESPOND:
HE WILL, direct the ‘PATHS”
of their LIVES according to what is NEEDED to produce the FRUIT of HIS DESIRE.
JUST an EXTRA tidbit of WISDOM:
IF the INDIVIDUAL is WILLING,
SURRENDERED, then the LORD will REVEAL and EMPOWER what is needed to get to the
RESULTS/ HIS DESIRE.
IF the PERSON is SEEKING
their OWN WILL and DESIRE, to “consume things upon their OWN LUST” HE will often “WILL/chastise” what is necessary, SEEKING to get
HIS DESIRE.
Sometimes, it requires a lot
of PAIN to get to that “DESIRED” place.
In these cases: I
have found more often than NOT that things get WORSE before they get BETTER.
Why is that you might ask?
More often than not, there is
some PURGING and CLEANSING that has to be done
in the LIVES of the INDIVIDUAL so that they can be CONFORMED into the IMAGE of
CHRIST, have the MIND OF CHRIST and begin to walk according to the WILL OF
CHRIST. MORE often than not, there are some HIDDEN THINGS of the HEART that has
to be REVEALED before the HEALING can come.
Sometimes these things are PAINFUL to let go of, and REPENTANCE
may not come as EASY.
Such things as:
“FALSE doctrines, casting
down imaginations, bitterness, anger etc.
These are barriers and hedges that
have PRODUCE the ROTTEN FRUITS in our lives and the LORD has to PURGE some off
them to get them OUT OF US. .
THUS in our PAIN and
SUFFERING we often find OUR BLESSING.
