THE DAY of the LORD: when HE ALONE SHALL BE EXALTED

THE DAY OF THE LORD: WHAT is HAPPENING during that time.

DANIEL gives us some of the MOST important information concerning what the OVERALL plan and purpose concerning “THE DAY of the LORD”

The DAY OF THE LORD has TWO themes in it.. 

1. For the wicked it will be a day of GREAT DARKNESS
2. And a time of RESTORATION for HIS FUTURE MILLI MUM KINGDOM..

DAN 9: 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city,

1. to finish the transgression,
2. and to make an end of sins,
3. and to make reconciliation for iniquity,
4. and to bring in everlasting righteousness,
5. and to seal/ put to an end, up the vision and prophecy
6. and to Anoint the Most Holy.

Isaiah 24 Also gives us GREAT INSIGHT as to what the DAY OF the LORD is about:

Isaiah 24: 1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth 

it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

THE WHY of the DAY OF THE LORD?

The earth is sick, defiled, the curse has devoured the earth, filled with sin and transgression:

ISAIAH 24: 5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

ISAIAH 24: 6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Note that without the BLESSINGS of the LORD, there is GREAT DARKNESS over the earth and the earth is in DESOLATION/without HIS favor or blessing.

IS 24: 19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

IS 24: 20 The earth shall reel to and from like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a drunked, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the TRANSGRESSION thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall and not rise again.

WHAT HAPPENS in the “DAY OF THE LORD”

1. Who shall be EXALTED?

GLORY to the LORD ALONE:

IS 2: 2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, [that] the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it..

IS 24: 17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

ISAIAH 24: 21 AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS in THAT DAY, that the LORD shall punish the HOST OF THE HIGH ONES that are on HIGH, and the KINGS of the EARTH upon the EARTH.

ISAIAH 24: 22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.. ‘ie when shall they be visited again: at the great white throne judgment”.

JOel 2: 2  A day opf darkness and of gloominess....
Zech  14: 3 The LORD will go forth and fight against all nations.....
Mal 4: 1 all that do wickedly, shall be stubble...



Zech 14:9  And the LORD shall be KING over all the EARTH; In that DAY shall there be ONE LORD, and HIS NAME ONE.

CONCLUSION:

THOSE BELIEVE that the BODY of CHRIST Is “RAPTURED” before the 7 years of TRIBULATION/calling that period of time "the DAY OF THE LORD", absolutely need to RECONSIDER their POSITION.

1. The 7 YEARS of TRIBULATION is a time when SATAN is EXALTED and worshiped, rules and reigns upon the EARTH.

During that period of time called the GREAT TRIBULATION.. the PROPHET will exercise all the POWER of SATAN for 3 1/2 years:

REV 13: 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty [and] two months.

REV 13: 6 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

REV 13: 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

THE DAY OF THE LORD: 

The LORD, will be EXALTED ALONE during the “DAY OF THE LORD”. it is a TIME when HE puts an END TO SIN and TRANSGRESSION. BRINGING in the KINGDOM, for the millennium REIGN of JESUS CHRIST.

The BODY of CHRIST should not be thinking that the RAPTURE as an ESCAPE PLAN from tribulation, but rather a DAY OF TRANSFORMATION and CONFORMATION unto the LORD, for we will PARTICIPATE in both the MARRIAGE FEAST OF THE LAMB and a BATTLE with the LORD.  AMEN..
