Seek ye first the KINGDOM OF GOD

MATT 6: 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

What does it mean to SEEK YE FIRST the KINGDOM OF GOD?

PHIL 1: 6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ:

Phil 3: 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Col 3: 2 Set your section on things above, not on things on the earth.

To SEEK HIS KINGDOM is to SEEK the LIFE-STYLE of HIS KINGDOM. We are Born into a NEW KINGDOM through SALVATION, THROUGH the BLOOD OF HIS SON, we have been restored to the garden of Eden. To be able to LIVE in HIS PRESENCE:

We are called to be HOLY—SET APART, different. To have the MIND OF CHRIST.

1 Peter 1: 15But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

We are to be a LIGHT unto the world

John 8: 12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

We are to bare a record of the word of GOD and the testimony of JESUS CHRIST

Rev 1: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

To surrender and submit our lives in CONFORMITY to HIS COMMANDS

Rev 12: 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ

John 15: 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

Be a people of forgiveness, longsuffering, joy, peace, and contentment

SEEKING to be CONFORMED into the IMAGE OF HIS SON:

Col 3: 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Col 3: 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also [do] ye.

Phil 1: 11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

In our actions, a life style of HOLINESS/set apart. LIVING as a LIVING SACRIFICE to HIM.

Romans 12: 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.

To truly LOVE GOD, means to have a great desire to be a PEOPLE that are living a life-style as though we are living under the authority and rule of a RIGHTEOUS LORD and KING:

We are to uphold JUSTICE, RIGHTEOUSNESS, as well as LOVING our neighbor.

To Desire what HE DESIRES, to RESCUE the lost. He does not desire the wicked die in their wickedness.

EZ 18: 23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: [and] not that he should return from his ways, and live?

And out of the ABUNDANCE of the LOVE we have for HIM, we love HIS PEOPLE, and Our desires become HIS DESIRES.

Let us HUMBLE ourselves before HIM, and seek repentance of the things that HINDER our walk, that dims our candles, that we can be a LIGHT unto the world. 

For HE Is WORTHY TO BE PRAISED, as the creator of ALL the universe.

Matt 6: 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not much more [clothe] you, O ye of little faith.

Matt 6: 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

MATT 6: 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

A Call to anguish : Let us Travail through the flesh in repentance, that we Desire what
HE desires most from us. LORD set my heart on fire for you!!

EMPTY ME: LORD help me become a KINGDOM MINDED SOUL UNTO YOU!! Laying aside my desires, idols, and vainity. That I will be a LIVINNG SACRIFICE ..............As a testimony to WHO you are and WHAT you have done for me................
