Cor 12: 1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
FIRST AND FOREMOST: ONE FOUNDATION
JESUS CHRIST
Opening STATEMENT:
It is a WONDERFUL thing to be a part of the KINGDOM OF CHRIST.
There is NOTHING MORE PRECIOUS than having the PRESENCES of GOD in our LIFE. That is PROSPERITY. NOTHING is more important than that. Christ HIMSELF cried OUT to the FATHER when for just that MOMENT when the WRATH was poured down upon HIS precious body. HE never mumbled a word during HIS BEATINGS. IT was the SEPARATION that HURT HIM the most.
There is NOTHING in this WORLD more important than to KNOW you are GIVEN the future HOPE of being a part of that KINGDOM.
So PLEASE ALLOW Me to be BLUNT: IF you do NOT know JESUS CHRIST as YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR. Then today IS the DAY of YOUR SALVATION. that is the FIRST place one must start. Otherwise, The GIFTS of MINISTRY ARE NOT FOR YOU. FOR it is YOUR ETERNITY of damnation that is FAR more important than any POWER you can posses.
YOUR choice, HE will not take your FREE-WILL away from you. PRAY that the FATHER will have MERCY and give you a CALL to REPENTANCE. THERE IS ONLY ONE DOOR to SALVATION and that is TROUGH HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST.
Satan can offer you POWER, but his power is about DEATH not LIFE.
PERSONALLY, I often think TOO MUCH emphasis is put on the SPIRITUAL GIFTS than the Administrator of the GIFT. I also think that WE should be CONTENT where ever the LORD has placed us in HIS KINGDOM and we should SEEK OBEDIENCE to HIM, above any "ambition" to be working in HIS ministry gifts.
BE FAITHFUL to the things of CHRIST, having the MIND of CHRIST about the KINGDOM you are in. Being OBEDIENT to the FIRST CALL, and the AUTHORITY that is given: ie your HOME, YOUR children, YOUR Wife, YOUR husband.
Heb 3: 6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Heb 3: 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
FAR too often what I see is AMBITION and PRIDE, rather than the GIFTS being manifested out of PURE HEARTS with intentions to GLORIFY GOD. And LORD help those that are USING HIS AUTHORITY for their own ambitions.
I am going to share a few things that I TRULY believe the LORD has given me. SOME understanding about HIS GIFTS and I HOPE that perhaps it will express the PURITY of the GIFTS.
I do not profess to be an AUTHORITY on this SUBJECT: But the LORD has placed on my heart to share what HE has shared with me.
From OBEDIENCE the LORD has used my hands two times for the purpose of healing. HE HEALED, it was BY HIS AUTHORITY and the POWER of THE HOLY SPIRIT, not my own.
I "WITNESSED" the POWER of GOD at WORK. Much like YOU WITNESS/SEE the power of GOD at work in SALVATION. You know you didn't do it, IT was by the POWER of GOD that it was done.
The GIFTS Of the SPIRIT:
I can tell you this:
You will NOT bargain with the LORD to get HIS power
You will NOT choose your own path of laying down your life to get HIS power
IT is NOT in a TECHNIQUE, method, or a process
I do NOT believe someone can BE TAUGHT to have HIS power, it is by HIS CHOOSING and HIS ALLOW.
It does not come from ones on HOLINESS or righteousness, but from a surrendered heart. that is why you will find anyone of any age spiritually being used by the LORD.
It comes from the ONE you are ABIDING IN.
It isn't about HOW much faith you have, but the ONE you put your faith in.
SIMPLY PUT... HE CALLS, We surrender, and Obey.
JESUS CHRIST is the ADMINISTRATOR of the GIFTS
THE HOLY SPIRIT is the POWER behind the GIFTS
IT is about the ONE YOU KNOW, and KNOWING THE ONE WHO IS.
1 Corinthians 12: 1 Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
Paul tells us WE are NOT called to be ignorant.
1 Corinthians 12: 2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
1 Cor 12: 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
THIS IS an IMPORTANT understanding.
NO ONE can SPEAK by the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD can CALL JESUS CHRIST ACCURSED.
ACCURSED means condemned separated from GOD, DOOMED, etc.
the HOLY SPIRIT will NOT speak through someone that does NOT recognize that JESUS CHRIST is the PATHWAY to SALVATION, and is RISEN to sit on the RIGHT HAND OF GOD in AUTHORITY and POWER over heaven, earth and beneath.
1 cor 12: 4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
The GIFTS are DIVERSE (various), by the HOLY SPIRIT.
1 Cor 12: 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord
The administration of the GIFTS or given by the AUTHORITY of CHRIST.
HE administers them as HE sees fit among the BODY.
1 Cor 12: 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
1Cr 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
The HOLY SPIRIT MANIFEST HIMSELF in the ONE whom is CALLED, to profit the BODY of CHRIST and the for the MANIFESTATION of the POWER of GOD for REDEMPTION and RESTORATION purposes.
The HOLY SPIRIT WILL ONLY EMPOWER what is OF GOD. HE is not interested in giving us POWER, but to GIVE WITNESS to GOD’S TRUTH, Heal the body of Christ, according to the WILL of the FATHER. HE gives WITNESS that the servant/messenger, is professing a MESSAGE from the LORD.
