COMPARING PROPHECY to PROPHECY JEREMIAH 51: wecrymercy

Could Jeremiah 51 be a NEAR FAR Prophecy?

Jeremiah 51: 6 Flee out of midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul/life: be not cut off in her iniquity; for “THIS IS THE TIME OF LORD’S VENGEANCE; HE will render unto her a recompense.

There are TWO things in this verse alone that lead to the IDEA of a NEAR/FAR Prophecy:

(note: near/far simply means it happens once then happens again at a future date)

1. During the time of the First Invasion of BABYLON Jeremiah 29: 5 the people were told to LIVE among the Babylonians, to build houses and plant gardens etc. In this Prophecy they are TOLD TO FLEE.
2. The LORD speaks of “THIS being the time of HIS VENGEANCE”.

Jeremiah 51: 7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD’S hand, that made all the earth drunken; the NATIONS have drunken of her wine: therefore the NATIONS are mad/deranged.

Let’s take a closer look at this verse:

1. BABYLON is referred to a HER

In Revelations, Babylon is also referred to a HER.

REV 17: 4.. and having a GOLDEN CUP in her hand, full of abominations and filthiness of her fornicatons.

Rev 17: 5 And upon HER forehead was a name written, a MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE “MOTHER” of harlots and ABOMINATION Of the “EARTH”

2. A golden cup in the LORD’S hand:

Remember the CUP OF WRATH for all NATIONS?  JEREMIAH 25: 15-32

JEREMIAH 25 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, behold evil shall go forth from NATION to NATION, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.. (the beast from the sea)

Jeremiah was commanded to take this cup and force all the kings to DRINK Of it.

Jeremaih 25: 26… and all the kingdoms of the world.

IN my opinion, that REVELATIONS will be the FULFILLMENT of JER 25: 26.

Jeremiah 51: 8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed; howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

9 We would have healed BABYLON, but she is not healed; forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and if lifted up even to the skies.

Let us compare that to REVELATIONS:

REV 18: 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

REV 18: 6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

For me this is a most interesting PROPHECY. During JOHN’S time BABYLON (550BC) had been long gone as an EMPIRE, Rome was the DOMINATE EMPIRE of his time,   yet the PROPHECY in REVELATIONS says to reward her DOUBLE according to her works.  It is a difficult prophecy, but I often wonder if it TRULY means that the REWARD of BABYLON is coming around a SECOND TIME, for her sins and abominations.  Though BABYLON was destroyed as an EMPIRE, the LAND of BABYLON was not left DESOLATE as she will be in the END TIME PROPHECY.

Some interesting FACTS about the OLD BABYLON to consider for the END TIME BABYLON:

Jeremiah 51: 17-18

1. JEREMIAH refers to her as one that DWELLEST upon many waters.
2. ABUNDANT in TREASURES
3. Thine end is come, and MEASURE of thy COVETOUSNESS.
4. Every man is brutish by his KNOWLEDGE (PRIDE)
5. confounded by the graven image, his molten image is falsehood (idolatry)
6. They are VANITY

JEREMIAH 51: 24-25

24. I will render unto BABYLON and to ALL the inhabitants of Chaldea all their EVIL that they have done in ZION in your sight saith the LORD.

25. Behold, I am against thee, O destroying MOUNTAIN, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth; and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

Notice that BABYLON is considered a DESTROYING MOUNTAIN.  Empire’s are often considered MOUNTAINS, of power, and dominance. This DESTROYING MOUNTAIN has DESTROYED ALL the earth. BABYLON has “dominated the earth” with its EMPIRE and POWER.

Again let us compare the OLD BABYLON to the NEW BABYLON:

JEREMIAH 51: 35 The violence done to me and to my flesh [be] upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.

REV 18: 20 Rejoice over her, [thou] heaven, and [ye] holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her

Stopping here for today:

Conclusion:

Jeremiah SEEMS to be giving a NEAR FAR PROPHECY:

IF that is true we can gain some WISDOM from OLD BABYLON compared to the BABYLON Of END TIMES:  (note: read REV. 18 and compare these WORKS of her hands to these)

1. She will be a LEADING CITY, in an EMPIRE
2. She will be a EMPIRE by many waters, with an abundance of treasures
3. full of COVETOUSNESS and PRIDE
4. Filled with IDOLS
5. AND bless be our SOUL, destroyed by GOD’S plan and will for the BLOOD of the prophets and saints.

Babylon of OLD lead the people of GOD into IDOLATRY,, to worship their goods, to seek treasures of that time, to covetousness. 

What do you suppose the BABYLON OF OUR TIME WILL DO???

REV 18: 14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION:

YOU will have to decide for yourself..

IS BABYLON the APOSTATE CHURCH or is BABYLON a EMPIRE/CITY with GAINS and LUST that the Body of CHRIST will "SELL" themselves over to because of THEIR ON DESIRES of lust and abominations??

WE must ALWAYS keep in mind that the LORD OF LORD’S will RETURN the SECOND time to take POSSESSION of what is RIGHTFULLY HIS.

REV  19: 15 and out of HIS MOUTH goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the NATIONS; and he shall RULE them with a rod of iron: and HE will treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of ALMIGHTY GOD.

REV 19: 16 And HE hath on HIS vesture KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS.

PRAISE HIS NAME, and surrender to the KING.

WE must KEEP OUR EYES and HEART focused on the LORD. KNOW that HIS PROPHECIES are TRUTH, and HE IS WORTHY to be PRAISE and HONORED. FOR HIS AUTHORITY STANDS above ALL others.. AMEN.

Dan 12: 7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which [was] upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that [it shall be] for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these [things] shall be finished.

What are you doing BODY OF CHRIST??????

Are you spending your days studying the WORD of GOD?
Seeking HIS FACE?
Seeking to HEAR HIS PLANS for your life?

OR are you studying, seeking to divide, consuming the works of man and satan? CONSISTENTLY seeking out the plans of the enemy and man?

Satan surely is fulfilling the above scripture. 

Have you noticed: talking about the WORD of GOD or HIS prophecies is forbidden not only in the WORLD, but also among many forums and even among CHRISTIAN sites is this a time of . SCATTERING the Power of the HOLY PEOPLE?.

It seems all I see and hear is the SAINTS pouring over the works of man and satan.
Do you really think KNOWING the plan of the enemy is going to save you?
Can you truly escape what the LORD has planned for you?

Consistently seeking out the GOVERNMENTS PLANS:

What has the government planned next etc etc etc.

The LORD KNOWS the PLANS of the ENEMY, they are NOT HIDDEN FROM HIM. 

Search the SCRIPTURES to find the TRUTH that is to come. So that you will not be TOSSED TO and FRO.




For no plan of the enemy is going to succeed without the LORD'S WILL.

KNOWING where the LORD would have you in these times, even if it comes to YOUR DEATH, is what WE MUST DESIRE MOST.

To STUDY the PROPHECIES of the LORD, you begin to build a WALL of untempered mortal, 

AS prophecy is REVEALED, we begin to know where to FIRMLY plant our feet. That the deceptions of the enemy can not gain a foothold in our life. The desire should be to KNOW OUR LORD'S plan and WILL, not the enemies.

Do you realize that by putting all this FOCUS ON and DISCOVERY of  the "conspiracies of men", you are giving him/the enemy more credit than you are giving GOD honor and praise?
The enemy has many plans, that will never come to TRUTH. But as long as he can keep you focused there, he has you RIGHT where he wants you, NOT HEARING from the LORD.

THE LORD'S  TRUTH will set us FREE of worry, pain, lies, deception and confusion.

GOD"S WORD: (whether spoken or written)

HIS WORD will give instruction and HIS “WORD through the PROPHET” will give us TRUE WARNINGS, that are meant to keep us SAFE in HIS WINGS.

TRUE prophecy is HIS MERCY  HIS GIFT, poured over HIS BODY, for their SAFETY,  and righteous JUDGMENT etc.

Since the enemy can succeed at nothing without GOD'S permission, wouldn't it seem responsible to KNOW FROM GOD"S WORD what the enemies success will be?

Wouldn’t it seem FAR more important to KNOW what the LORD has planned than what the enemy is doing?

Wouldn’t it be FAR MORE IMPORTANT to know what will SAVE YOUR SOUL, than what WILL DESTROY your flesh?

SO what!!!!! a “METEOR” is going to land on the earth. LET it land!!! please let it land on my HEAD. There is NOTHING of this WORLD that want or can’t be REPLACED in HEAVEN where my SAVIOR AND LORD LIVES.

There is NOTHING the enemy can do that GOD does NOT ALLOW. SO the control is in HIS HANDS.  HIS plans WILL COME TO PASS, because HIS WORD NEVER FAILS.

So with that, I will offer a couple of suggestions:

TURN off that TV, get your face out of that computer, SPEND your time in the WORD of GOD, Discover HIS PLAN, and INSTRUCTION for YOUR life. BE OBEDIENT to whatever HE calls you to. Forget the works of man and SEEK to HEAR HIS VOICE. For ONLY trough that will YOU be able to ENDURE what is coming. TELL your family and love ones about CHRIST. SPEND what time you have LEFT communing with the LORD.

RISE UP BODY OF CHRIST and let us get a GODLY PROSPECTIVE on these things!!! And always remember THE WORD OF GOD has the AUTHORITY!!! JESUS CHRIST, the HOLY SPIRIT, and the WORD will never contradicted themselves, THEY ARE ONE in UNITY, and WILL.

Mic 3: 5  Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.

EZ 21: 7

And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak [as] water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.
Why people doubt HIS WARNING?  LORD how do I them understand???

How many warnings does HE Have to give before YOU will pay attention and receive it in the LOVING MERCIFUL manner in which HE HAS SHARED?


Why do you continue to believe that the CHILDREN of GOD will be SPARED when HE has WARNED OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

You "DESIRE" to LIVE in your IGNORANCE. and SIMPLICITY, as though IGNORANCE IS BLISS, thinking life is going to be easy for GOD'S CHILDREN.  YOU will suffer and YOUR Family is going to suffer NEEDLESSLY, unless you are WALKING in HIM and FOLLOWING HIM IN OBEDIENCE. Whatever HE tells you to do, be OBEDIENT to it.


Walking in FAITH comes from a LIFESTYLE that has EXERCISED FAITH through OBEDIENCE. FAITH is INCREASED by "WITNESSING" the WORK OF GOD in our LIVES. IF you have never WALKED BY FAITH through OBEDIENCE, now is the time to start, not when she collapses.





CHAOS is COMING:  And some of you are going to be RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT from your dependence upon the government.

There will NOT be PEACE for those that are DEPENDENT upon HER/HARLOT,  destruction is coming, enmity between GOD"S ELECT and SATAN'S KINGDOM. Satan is GIVEN Authorithy to RULE and to hunt and destroy the BODY of CHRIST..


There is ONLY ONE SALVATION, and it is IN CHRIST JESUS, dead or alive.

The LORD has given me a TASK, a WARNING to WARN, and ALARM to ALARM.
PREPARE to "COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE" or YOU WILL SUFFER along with HER and HER PEOPLE.

The GREAT TRIBULATION is not about the WICKED WORLD being punished, but about the BODY of CHRIST being PURIFIED.  



Rev 18: 4 
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.


IF your LIFE Is dependent upon the GOVERNMENT, for your SECURITY, your SALVATION,  for your food, health etc. You are going to find yourself LACKING. 

The JUDGMENT is coming on Financial Market and their are those that will ONLY care about themselves.


YOU MUST PREPARE to become an INDEPENDENT/ SET APART individual from the GOVERNMENT, filled with and LIVING in FAITH, walking in HIM to survive this SPIRITUALLY and PHYSICALLY. IF the RIGHTEOUS are dwelling within her they will receive the same judgment. To be IN HER/HARLOT you will either be captured or subject to FAMINE.


Perhaps some of US will be lucky enough to die an EARLY death, but dieing by STARVATION based on your own decision to not SEEK GOD through FAITH and OBEDIENCE will not be the DESIRED OPTION. The LORD does not have to RESCUE YOU from your own RECKLESSNESS.

There is ONLY ONE OPTION:

IS TO REPENT of OUR SINS

DRAW NEARER TO HIM

WALK in FAITH of "OBEDIENCE" as HE CALLS
Pray for the HEALING of the BODY OF CHRIST

AND LET go and CAST OFF  OUR IDOLS, that we not be CONSUMED upon our own LUST.

ARE YOU TRULY PREPARED TO WALK OUT and leave EVERYTHING BEHIND?

Step 2 in creating an EMPIRE, Daniel and John: wecrymercy

So in our last study we could see HOW Daniel and John through the grace and mercy of GOD were given “VISIONS” pertaining to the END OF TIME, beast and little horn,  and both visions line up together without contradiction. 

So let us go onto the next step:

Rev 13: 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

Rev 13: 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Dan 7: 28 And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Let us list the things that the LITTLE HORN does here:

1. Blasphemy God, His name, and HIS tabernacle
2. he will have POWER over “ALL” kindreds, tongues and NATIONS.(just a side note: ALL means GLOBAL)
3. the LITTLE HORN is able to make war, and overcome the saints.
4. the LITTLE HORN will be given authority for 3 ½ years
5. he will ACCOMPLISH to scatter the power of the holy people.

UNTIL all these things shall be FINISHED;

Daniel and John's vision.. ONE STEP at a time to the end time BEAST/EMPIRE: wecrymercy

Daniel’s Vision was primarily Focused on the LITTLE HORN.

John’s VISION was primarily spent discussing the EMPIRE in which the LITTLE HORN will ultimately RULE.

So let us take the time and see HOW the TWO VISIONS line up together.

And the ANGEL explained the VISION of DANIEL.

Daniel 7: 16 I cam near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the TRUTH of all this….

Daniel 7: 17 The great beasts, which are four, are four KINGS (the word kings represent their KINGDOMS), which shall arise out of the EARTH.

(side note: the KINGDOMS come from the SEA, the KINGS come from the EARTH)

Daniel 7: 23 

Thus  he said, the fourth beast shall be the FOURTH KINGDOM BEAST shall be the FOURTH KINGDOM upon earth, which shall be DIVERSE from all KINGDOMS and shall devour the WHOLE EARTH, and shall tread it down, and beast it in pieces.

IT is important to NOTE that these 10 KINGDOMS devour the WHOLE EARTH. These KINGS and Kingdoms have come an gone over the life time of the EARTH, HOWEVER at the TIME Of the END, there will ARISE a FINAL KINGDOM/EMPIRE, more power than any of its predecessors

To be DIVERSE—is much like the 10 toes, of clay and iron. Some RULING/ dominating KINGDOMS, and others made of Clay/smaller kings that don’t have as much dominance or INFLUENCE.. These KINGDOMS/NATIONS/COUNTRIES will rule the WHOLE EARTH.

(Daniel's vision included the 4th being ROME, 5th, and 6th empires)

Daniel 7: 24 And the ten horns (kings) out of this kingdom are TEN KINGS that shall arise, AND ANOTHER SHALL RISE AFTER THEM; AND he shall be diverse from the first, and shall subdue three kings.

Out of this 4th BEAST  (ROME) comes a KINGDOM of 10 kings and AFTER the 10 KINGS, the LITTLE HORN Rises, he will subdue 3, in his subduing he doesn’t have to take OWNERSHIP, only that he is able to bring them into submission to him and his authority.

Now let us take a LOOK at REVELATIONS and JOHN’S vision and see how it LINES up with DANIEL.

(John's vision works from the 6th to the 7th and 8th beast)
5 have fallen:  Egypt, Assyria, Babylonian, Persian, Greek
1 is,   ROME
1 is still to come, REV 13, the beast out of the sea.
and the 8th is of the 7.

I believe though not conclusively: 

That Daniel's 6th beast and John's 8th beast are the same beast.

REV 13: 1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea (KINGDOM) , and saw a BEAST rise up out of the sea, having SEVEN heads and TEN HORNS (KINGS), and upon his HORNS ten CROWNS (authority), and upon his HEADS the name of Blasphemy.

Rev 13: 3 And I saw one of his heads( NATION/COUNTRY/KINGDOM)  as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the BEAST (EMPIRE).

Rev 13: 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

WHO IS LIKE THE BEAST/ EMPIRE? WHO is able to make WAR with HIM?

This BEAST/EMPIRE has become so POWERFUL that NO ONE is able to stand against it or the him that is Ruling it.

What BEAST is JOHN referring to?

HE is referring the HEAD (a HEAD is a KINGDOM, a HORN is the KING)  that was HEALED that has come AFTER the first 10 KINGDOMS. Just like DANIEL this POWERFUL BEAST/EMPIRE has risen out of the first 10 kings and kingdoms.

Rev 13: 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty [and] two months

BY REV 13: 5 the GREAT TRIBULATION begins with the KING/LITTLE horn ruling the EMPIRE.

Rev 13: 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Please spend some time seeking the LORD on this, before you continue onto the next study.

2 Cor 6: 1 We then, [as] workers together [with him], beseech [you] also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

2 Cor 6: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

A WISE SERVANT and FAITHFUL SERVANT would do WELL to follow the WISDOM of GOD through these scriptures:

BE YE NOT UNEQUALLY YOKED: dating, fellowshipping (endearing ourselves to), even considering dating with the idea of MARRIAGE to a NON CHRISTIAN would be a foolish act for a member of the BODY of CHRIST.

Light vs darkness

Righteousness vs unrighteousness

The TWO  KINGDOMS can not mix, for they will divide the other.

To YOKE/to put ourselves into bondage with an UNBELIEVER is binding ourselves to a life time of SORROW and PAIN. One can SIMPLY NOT come to ONENESS in a relationship where TWO people are SERVING two different KINGDOMS.

We are the TEMPLE of the LIVING GOD, we are CALLED to have no fellowship (endearments/agreements/bondage) with IDOLS or INFIDELS. 

2 Cor 6: 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

Belial means "Worthlessness or wickedness".

Concord simply means AGREEMENT/ covenant.

Infidel meaning LOST/ Faithless /unbeliever

1) unfaithful, faithless, (not to be trusted, perfidious)

2) incredible

a) of things

3) unbelieving, incredulous

a) without trust (in God)

2 Cor 6: 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Paul is ADMONISHING the believer to not YOKE/bond themselves with the UNBELIEVERS as WELL as IDOLS that pollute/abominate the temple of GOD, Body, mind and soul.

2 Cor 6: 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you,

To be SEPARATE is the same as HOLY/SET APART.

UNCLEAN

1) not cleansed, unclean

a) in a ceremonial sense: that which must be abstained from according to the levitical law

b) in a moral sense: unclean in thought and life

2 Cor 6: 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

2 Cor 7: 1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

CLEANSING ourselves from FILTHINESS of the SPIRIT and FLESH.

The PROMISES of GOD are ETERNAL, a life of ABUNDANT LIVING in HIM, BLESSED by HIM, through the following of HIS precepts and PRINCIPALS.

2 Cor 7: 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

2 Cor 7: 11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, [what] clearing of yourselves, yea, [what] indignation, yea, [what] fear, yea, [what] vehement desire, yea, [what] zeal, yea, [what] revenge! In all [things] ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. 

These things were not meant to CONDEMN the BELIEVER, but to bring about GODLY SORROW To REPENTANCE. RENEWAL, REBIRTH, Conforming us to the MIND and IMAGE OF CHRIST.

In the FLESH we can only come to GODLY SORROW, from our SORROW of SIN the HOLY SPIRIT and the WORD of GOD, are able to bring us to the INDIGNATION/angry at your SIN, FEAR (REVERANCE) and a VEHEMENT DESIRE to be CLEANSED.

To feel Indignation for sin means also that we are NO LONGER able to JUSTIFY it in our lives.

So in ALL things we may be APPROVED to be clean in these matters.

That the HOLY SPIRIT has the POWER to bring us to REPENTANCE and RESTORATION to the IMAGE OF CHRIST.

LORD JESUS, We ask that YOU bring about the GODLY SORROW needed through your WORD. Give us the DESIRE be SEPARATE and HOLY before you,  REVEAL YOURSELF as HOLY, that We may have  REVERENCE in our HEART for YOUR PRECEPTS, PRINCIPALS, the INDIGNATION for SIN, that we can CAST OFF, TRAMPLE DOWN, these STRONG HOLDS and STUMBLINGBLOCKS in our LIVES, Things that EXALT themselves above the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD,  that YOU be HONORED and GLORIFYED forever and ever, in JESUS NAME AMEN.

A WORD from the LORD

This is what the SPIRIT whispered in my heart  YESTERDAY:

"They say give us YOUR NAME and YOUR BLESSING, but we don’t want a relationship".

It was not spoken from a Wrathful heart, but with great sadness  and yet there was so much POWER in it, it made my knees and body shake.

I SEE LOVE: Do you Truly LOVE the ONE that gave it all for you?

Is it a wonder, that THE FATHER WILL POUR out HIS WRATH upon those that REJECTED HIS SON?

MY DEAR  Brothers and Sisters:

The DAY is DRAWING SHORT, WE must search ourselves before the LORD.

HAVE YOU TAKEN HIS NAME as YOUR OWN?

DO you TRULY know the ONE you talk so much about?

THERE is a RELATIONSHIP involved in SALVATION and without it you will TREMBLE at HIS RETURN. Unless you KNOW HIM, and are ABIDING IN HIM. KNOWING HIS NAME will NOT be enough.

Can you have confidence and trust that HE is able to do everything HE says that HE can?
Have you experienced HIS TOUCH, HIS HEALING, HIS CALL, HIS chastisements? IF none of these have ever occurred in your LIFE, You might ask yourself.. DO YOU TRULY KNOW HIM, or do you MERELY know HIS NAME.

WOULD You lay everything aside today and get before HIM?

NOW Is the TIME to be ASSURED of SALVATION.

James 2: 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

James 2: 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

IF you are not abiding in HIM, you are DEAD ALREADY.

Are they looking for your WORSHIP, YOUR submission, YOUR loyalities,

2 Peter 2: 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

2 Peter 2: 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam [the son] of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

We must STAND STRONG IN HIS PROMISE to do that WE MUST be ABIDING IN HIM. 

IN our WEAKNESS HE IS MADE STRONG.

2 Peter 3: 1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in [both] which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

2 Peter 3: 2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

SALVATION is an ABIDING RELATIONSHIP with the ONE that GAVE HIS LIVE FOR US.

1 John 1: 3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

1 John 1 : 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

CONCLUSION:

Today is the DAY OF SALVATION

Salvation is an INTIMATE PERSONAL RELATIONS, Not a one time experience.

It is a journey of a life time of FAITH, and OBEDIENCE, cleansing and purifying to conform us to the IMAGE OF HIS SON. 

IF you are not experiencing that personal relationship, it is TIME to make a change.

GET before HIM and allow yourself to be examined by HIM, Seek HIS FACE, determine to DRAW NEAR, to HEAR HIS VOICE, confessing all sin, repent, and be RECONCILED.

Better to be concerned with what CONDEMNS your soul, than what can destroy your flesh.

The FATHER'S character has not changed.
He still desires and requires fellowship and a relationship with HIS creation.

A relationship is an active living breathing, communion between two.

IN the ABIDING, We can TRUST that HIS WORDS are TRUE, Eternal Security is in KNOWING the ONE that is the GREAT I AM.

FROM the Dwelling in HIS PRESENCES and HEARING HIS VOICE:

THEN  WE can HAVE CONFIDENCE that we are IN HIM.

Our heart will begin to DESIRE the things HE DESIRES. THE GREATEST BLESSING in our LIFE is the PRESENCES of a HOLY GOD.

The QUICKENING and the MORTIFYING of the FLESH

From DEATH to LIFE, through the HOLY SPIRIT:

Romans 8: 10 And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness.

Romans 8: 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Romans 8: 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

Romans 8: 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Romans 8: 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God

Romans 8: 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

·        The Greek word AFFECTION literally say “SET YOUR MIND ON THINGS ABOVE” We are not to occupy ourselves with things on the earth, things of the enemy.

·        Where one FEEDS their mind, is how one lives. 

·        Are you feeding your mind, body and soul with the concerns of this world, or are you allowing the LORD to fill your hunger and thirst by HIS WORD, HIS SPIRIT?

3: 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

3: 4 When Christ, [who is] our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

3: 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

vs 3 inasmuch as they “are dead’ to sin, we are to make this death to the OLD LIFE a reality in DAILY LIVING. (wisdom—literally means: ”wise behavior”  “wise dealing” “good sense” )

Some of these words I didn’t actually know what they meant, so I have taken the time to look them up:

PUT to DEATH, by the HOLY SPIRIT:

IF we recognize any of these within us we must SEEK the LORD for the MORTIFYING of the DEEDS OF OUR BODY.  The word of GOD is a seed planted within us, given increase by GOD, as WE surrender to his HOLINESS.

b) in a moral sense: the impurity of lustful, luxurious, profligate living

NOTE: do you have desires, cravings, lust that are forbidden?

WHICH IS IDOLATRY

We will stop here for today:

Conclusion:

As a CHILD of GOD we are no LONGER under the SPIRIT OF BONDAGE, “OLD LIFE” inherited from our BIRTH in ADAM. And we are NO LONGER to LIVE in that OLD LIFE OF BONDAGE.

We are given the SPIRIT OF LIFE, which is the HOLY SPIRIT, dwelling within us,  as a member of the BODY OF CHRIST. HE quickens and mortifies to restore what is OF GOD.

Any member of the BODY OF CHRIST should be able to “RECOGNIZE/give WITNESS” to that NEW BIRTH that is WITHIN THEM. THE presence of the HOLY SPIRIT within us will ALWAYS give witness to: GOD’S WAYS, GOD’S CHARACTER, GOD’S precepts,  etc. 

The HOLY SPIRIT working power within us will MORTIFY (put to death) the DEEDS of the FLESH as these DEEDS are EXPOSED, REVEALED to us, by our commune with JESUS CHRIST the mediator. ABIDING DAILY with the ONE WHO saved us.

1 Cor 15: 31  I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

The JOURNEY of the BELIEVER is a life of DIEING to self and putting on the RIGHTEOUSNESS of CHIRST. 

We are only able to consume so much at one time. We must DIE DAILY for just as the FATHER warned  MOSE’S, we could not SEE GOD IN ALL OF  HIS HOLINESS at one time.. 

Matt 13: 18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

Matt 13: 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth [it]; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Will we produce fruit from the WORD of GOD? 

Do We desire what is OF GOD, HIS WAYS, HIS CHARACTER, HIS DESIRES?

Let us lay aside all things of the OLD MAN and PUT on the NEW LIFE, to be transformed, regenerated, and renewed by the HOLY SPIRIT to the KINGDOM of GOD and the IMAGE OF HIS SON.

Pray today that the LORD will give INCREASE to HIS WORD, That we would be able to SURRENDER that the HOLY SPIRIT can MORTIFY the DEEDS of this LIFE, that we can be BROUGHT to the NEW LIFE in HIM.

I just have a few more points to make, all designed to help you relate rightly to the Holy Spirit. The next one may surprise you, but I think it’s very important. Be prepared to be weak or foolish or both. I think that’s essential. If you’re not prepared for that, there will be a very definite limit as to how far the Holy Spirit will be able to use you….
     What has God chosen? The weak things to confound the mighty, the foolish things to confound the wise, the base things to confound the things that are honorable.
     It’s a strange list, isn’t it? The weak, the foolish, the base, the things that are not. Which category are you in? Are you very dignified, very respectable, very intelligent? This will shock you, but God can’t use you. You’re outside the field of His choice, you see.
     So what’s the solution? God is not going to change. We have to change.

From “How to Find God’s Plan for Your Life”:

     It has always blessed me to think that the great Creator of the universe who created the stars and the seas and the mountains, all the glorious and beautiful things that surround us on earth—that when He wanted to make His masterpiece, He went to the scrap heap for His material. And that’s where he found people such as me.
     I have no doubt where I was when the Lord found me. I was there on the scrap heap. And in His wonderful grace and mercy, He reached down and took that unpromising piece of material that was me, in my lost and unregenerate state, and said, “I’m going to make a masterpiece out of you.” And that’s true, not merely for me….

You Matter to God

     Can you relate to what Derek was saying here? I certainly can, and it encourages me all the more to present myself to the Lord to be used by Him.

     The Lord knows all about the struggle you and I may have had in regard to whether we can be of any use to Him. Make no mistake. He has heard your cry as you have asked Him to use you for His purposes. That deep longing of your heart has not fallen on deaf ears.

     Would you like to affirm that desire and settle it once and for all? If so, please join me in the following prayer and proclamation:

     Lord Jesus, I admit that I have had doubts about my usefulness to You. I have given in to accusing thoughts that my inadequacies and failures may have disqualified me from being used for Your purposes.
     With this prayer, in Your presence, I reject those accusations. And I cry out once again to You to be used in Your service. Lord Jesus, touch my life again in a fresh way. I place myself completely on the altar as a living sacrifice, and I declare my trust in the truth of Your Word according to Romans 12:1: that by the power of Your blood, I am a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God.
     I come to You now, just as I am. I receive Your forgiveness, Your cleansing, Your affirmation and Your commissioning for whatever tasks You may have ordained for me as Your devoted servant. I am all Yours, Lord Jesus, and I proclaim that You will use me for the purposes of Your kingdom in the times ahead.

WE must not doubt our impact upon a DIEING WORLD. No matter how small or insignificant we may be. WE SERVE a MIGHTY GOD.

LET us SURRENDER to HIS CALL that HE be GLORIED. AMEN.

Part 2 of STRONGHOLDS and STUMBLING BLOCKS: wecrymercy

Romans 12: 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Ti 3: 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

2 Cor 10: 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

2 Cor 10: 4 For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

2 Cor 10: 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Well this is where the LORD has lead me next;

1. WE must be TRANSFORMED, by renewing of our mind, that ye may PROVE what is good and acceptable and perfect will of GOD.

2. Not by works of righteousness which we do, but by the WASHING OF REGENERATION, and RENEWING of the HOLY GHOST

3. Our battle is not after the flesh, to pull down strong holds

4. To cast down imaginations, EVERY HIGH thing that EXALETH itself against the knowledge of GOD.

We must being with a WORD STUDY to get an accurate understanding. Through this WORD study I believe the LORD has REVEALED that SH and SB are CAST DOWN, through the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT. OUR flesh will always WAR against the KNOWLEDGE Of GOD (his ways are not our ways), but through the SPIRIT the TRANSFORMATION, REGENERATION, and RENEWAL will come about. For the SPIRIT EMPOWERS what is OF GOD.

AT most, our FLESH can begin to HAVE GODLY SORROW as it begins to SEEK to SURRENDER to the WILL and SPIRIT of the LORD.

But the enemy that is always about our feet will war against that surrender through temptation, seeking to devour, frustrate the WILL of GOD.  Seeking to bring the SAINT into captivity, condemnation.

ONE of the SECRETS to success that the LORD has revealed to me is the DIFFERENCE between. DESIRE of the SPIRIT and the DESIRE of the FLESH:

IF I have SOUGHT to simple convince myself that I CAN’T have something the FLESH will overcome the SPIRIT.

IF I TRULY want the MIND OF CHRIST, and I  DON’T want to have the SH OR SB in my life, then the SPIRIT can being to REGENERATE, RENEWAL and TRANSFORM. 

THE MIND OF CHRIST: JESUS CHRIST the SON OF GOD, always DESIRED to do the FATHER'S WILL. As CHILDREN of GOD, our DESIRE should be to do the SAME. Have the "MIND OF CHRIST".

The difference comes with the DESIRE.

IF you or I are simply telling ourselves WE can’t have something that our FLESH desires. Our FLESH actually is EMPOWERED.  The LAW becomes a HINDRANCE to us. OUR FLESH remains in the HUNGER and THIRST stage of the strong hold or stumbling block. For the FLESH desires become so STRONG it will overcomes the SPIRIT.

IF a person is SURRENERED to the SPIRIT, and  SERIOUS does NOT WANT or DESIRE something that DEFILES the FLESH, HINDERS the SPIRIT or DESIRES the MIND OF CHRIST, then the SPIRIT is able to OVER POWER the FLESH.

It only comes through OUR  LOVE for GOD, LOVE of TRUTH, A WORSHIPFUL HEART,  that WE can be SET FREE.

ROMANS 12: 2 WE are not to be CONFORMED to this WORLD, but to be LIVING SACRIFICES to GOD, ROMANS 12: 1

Those to verses alone say a great deal about our LIVES and the way we LIVE.  

I am CONVINCED: 

Strong holds and stumbling blocks are “generally” coming from the CONFORMITY of this WORLD. 

They bind us and hold us captive to this WORLD.

They are NOT Of the MIND of CHRIST, KNOWLEDGE Of GOD, or the HOLY SPIRIT, they defile us, and hinder the GOSPEL of CHRIST.

Some Questions to ask ourselves:

Are we being HINDERED in our WALK with CHRIST, Hindered from sharing the gospel by our SH or SB? 

IS our CONSCIENCE CLEAN before the LORD and MAN?

Does this SH or SB bind or hold us captive to the WORLD for need? 
Are we Under CONVICTION by the HOLY SPIRIT? 

 IF the answer to any of the above is YES, then the LORD may want to PRICK your heart.

Then it may be TIME to SURRENDER to the CALL to begin to COME OUT of BABYLON.

 CONFESSION before the LORD is the first place to begin our WALK.

Through REPENTANCE we find FORGIVENESS, through FORGIVENESS we find HEALING.

THE SAINT Of GOD should have “GODLY DESIRES,  to be HOLY/SET APART that we be not HELD CAPTIVE to this WORLD, through these SH or SB.

LORD GIVES US the DESIRE OF YOUR HEART, that WE can be RENEWED and REGENERATED by YOUR SPIRIT to be conformed to the IMAGE OF YOUR SON.

LET us begin with a WORD study:

*WE ARE TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING of our minds.

What does it mean to TRANSFORM:

1) to change into another form, to transform, to transfigure

a) Christ appearance was changed and was resplendent with divine brightness on the mount of transfiguration.

So to TRANSFORM is something we are NOT able to do ourselves, it requires DIVINE intervention.

The RENEWING:

1) a renewal, renovation, complete change for the better

To PROVE what is good and acceptable and perfect will of GOD.

From the TRANSFORMATION we are RENEWED, renovated, come to a complete change for the better.

OBVIOUSLY HERE we see the TRANSFORMATION and RENEWAL comes through the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT.

The FLESH can not TRANSFORM/ CHANGE itself into DIVINE BRIGHTNESS as on the mount of transfiguration.

WASHING in the REGENERATION:

REGENERATION:

1) new birth, reproduction, renewal, recreation, regeneration

a) hence renovation, regeneration, the production of a new life consecrated to God, a radical change of mind for the better. The word often used to denote the restoration of a thing to its pristine state, its renovation, as a renewal or restoration of life after death

b) the renovation of the earth after the deluge

Again the REGNERATION comes from the REBIRTH into the NEW LIFE consecrated to GOD. A radical change of MIND for the BETTER.

RENEWING:

*Renewing in this verse is the same as above.

1) a renewal, renovation, complete change for the better

Except this time, and as we can see this RENEWAL comes through the HOLY GHOST.

* We need to understand that our BATTLE is not with the FLESH.

* Our WEAPONS are NOT CARNAL

* Our Weapons are MIGHTY through GOD to pull down the STRONG HOLDS in our lives.

IT Is through the SPIRITUAL WEAPONS that we are able to CAST DOWN:

“Imaginations/thoughts  that EXALTETH themselves ABOVE the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.

We will NEVER succeed the RENEWAL, REGENARATION, or the TRANSFORMATION through our OWN FLESH.

HOWEVER, there is an IMPORTANT aspect to this.

The HEART within us is CONVICTED by the WORD of GOD (spoken or written) our FLESH becomes PRICKED by the HOLINESS of GOD. IT is through that PRICKING that we come into GODLY SORROW for what WE have done. Through that GODLY SORROW, if we SURRENDER we are brought to REPENTANCE (the cross) and then through the RESURRECTION (POWER) to be REGENARATED, and RENEWED.

The battle is a SPIRITUAL ONE:

The demonic is always under foot, seeking WHOM they may devour, desiring that we be:

Condemned

Tempted to though our Lust, James 1: 13 (don’t expect that to stop)

To steal our blessings

To KILL etc.

The LORD CALLS HIS PEOPLE to BE HOLY (SET APART), as obedient children, (ALWAYS remember we are CHILDREN)  not according to the former LUSTS in your ignorance.

1 Peter 1: 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

Our Flesh Lust over many things, but the SPIRIT of GOD seeks what is OF GOD.

Those that SEEK the The MIND OF CHRIST: DESIRE what is OF GOD, HOLY,

Good, to cast off things that HINDER the gospel, that are not of GOOD REPORT.

1 Peter 1: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

+conversation—actually means in behavior.

1 Peter 1: 16  Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

*HOLY- in its simply term means to be “SET-APART”

CONCLUSION:

As “OBEDIENT CHILDREN”, we OBEY as the FATHER CALLS/ REVEALS what is NOT of HIM.

AS a CHILD of GOD, we have an INTIMATE PERSONAL relationship with our LORD and SAVIOR.   Through that CALL or REVELATION of what is NOT Of HIM, comes  the SUBMISSION and DESIRE to be "OBEDIENT CHILDREN".

GODLY SORROW begins to work in the HEART of the believer. The HOLY SPIRIT brings about the  REGENERATION, RESTORATION, and TRANSFORMATION, through our SURRENDER and OBEDIENCE.

The HOLY SPIRIT is the POWER that RESTORES, RENEWS and REGENERATES the BELIEVER through OBEDIENCE.

It is through our SPIRITUAL WEAPONS of GOD that brings our MIND into captivity, to every thought to the obedience of CHRIST

The MIND Of CHRIST DESIRES what PLEASES GOD.

SPIRITUAL WEAPONS of GOD:

1) a god or goddess, a general name of deities or divinities

2) the Godhead, trinity

a) God the Father, the first person in the trinity

b) Christ, the second person of the trinity

c) Holy Spirit, the third person in the trinity

3) spoken of the only and true God

Our TRANSFORMATION, REGENERATION, is a continuous act/ journey that the FATHER does for HIS CHILDREN, That we can be CONFORMED to the IMAGE Of HIS SON.

LET us SURRENDER DAILY as HE CALLS or REVEALS so the transformation, regeneration that HE desires can be brought about.

We are NOT our own, and HE knows what we can handle and what we can not. We are HIS CHILDREN. A CHILD loves HIS FATHER and seeks to OBEY. HE provides the SPIRITUAL POWER to succeed at ANYTHING HE desires for us to do.  Whatever HE has begun WE must be CONFIDENT that HE is also able to PERFORM.

PHI 1: 6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ:

Well AMEN, I hope that has helped you as it has HELPED me.

MY PRAYER:

I PRAISE YOU LORD for YOUR LOVE and LONG SUFFERING.
LORD I DESIRE to be an OBEDIENT CHILD, to be a WITNESS of YOUR HOLINESS/set apart. I pray that YOU will continue to patiently walk this JOURNEY with me as I seek to have the "MIND OF CHRIST", to be CONFORMED to  YOUR IMAGE as a daughter of the MOST HIGH. That YOU will continue to REVEAL what is IN ME that is NOT of YOU.

PLEASE REVEAL LORD what is in me that is a hindrance to the GOSPEL of CHRIST. It is through a REVELATION of HOLINESS that REVEALS DARKNESS and the WORLD in me. Give me a REVELATION LORD, That I may PROVE(be a witness) to what is good and acceptable the WILL OF THE FATHER.

LORD I pray you will TRANSFORM, REGENERATE and RENEW me through the POWER Of YOUR RESURRECTION/HOLY SPIRIT.  

I believe with my WHOLE heart that WHAT YOU have begun in me, and through the ABIDING IN YOU,  that YOU are ABLE to work through a surrendered heart and  will continue to bring me through CONVICTION and GODLY SORROW to the REPENTANCE (the cross) and through POWER OF YOUR RESURRECTION, to be conformed to the IMAGE of YOU. That you are ABLE and WILLING to PERFORM the good work that you have in store for my life. IN JESUS NAME, let it be so.. AMEN.

Praise be to HIS NAME, for HE IS WORTHY to be PRAISED. 

Jeremiah 29;11-13 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 

12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart
